I was just curious to know how many of the reps on here are from Canada, and if so; which call center?
I will start; Canada, Regina, Sk.

Wow, I will tell You that reps in my call center have a hit out on Halifax reps. They, (You) seem to be the bain of our existence. Not really, but it is pretty diffucult to have a warm fussy feeling for the reason that You do not have queue. I am only kidding.
We only wish that You guys would look up in csp for the transfer #'s, and check Poet to see if they are orange now, and not converted. Please and thank-you. It would mean a whole bunch.

I'm from the Regina Center and .... yes converted reps are absolutely stupid. mind you now that i think about it i have a bain on orange reps aswell. they are DUMBASS's, they won't take calls unless you've verified everything including their waste size yet have no problems just dropping customers into our Q.
*side note: we dont hate the converted / orange reps that we're friends with, just all the other losers.*

generally reps i've encountered have been pretty good. i've ranted a bit in another thread, but it's usually cool.
it's odd though. it seems that orange reps still refer to customers as being on ATT Wireless. and the past few days i've had a few customers telling me off 'cause they're all confused about that. it sucks.

I am a '2g/3g Orange rep/tier II tech', and I'm BEUC, yep. I think that there is a misunderstanding between the teams here. An Orange rep is usually doing a great deal of jobs simultaneously- we do VID every time, yes- and we do transfer only when a call is outside our auspice or power. But when you are getting a transfer from an Orange BEUC agent its because this part is your job. At least at my center, the One person resolution IS a golden rule, we only reach out if we have to either by policy we cant shortcut, or systems access. Maybe (like me) they just spent a long time doing TSR/RES troubleshooting; as in snooper tier III sub mods with Compass order tracking because Phoenix is down again, we do RM,XBM,3G,ports,activations,TSD/RSD,Bus/Govt/Mil Accts, a whole sh**load that we COULD xfer but dont- at least here in the Victoria center!
- point is- we do the jobs that other people are trained for- and when we DO transfer it is because we have just done our "minimum" AND the "minimum" or three other people! ONLY Then.... we phone out, follow VID, try to be friendly and bring the person over, or just get the info needed. Talk to some current Orange reps about what they are actually DOING and then bitch about the VID or Xfers.
Actually, just today I had a great experience when doing an Xfer, the agent had the same warez- different training, and instead of doing it- just told me how I could do it with my warez and make it all easier. Ok, good. To me, thats a good connect in the job- both helping eachother out.
Hearing people insult orange, and/or beuc reps bothers me. Yeah, I am one- but the job is damn ugly if we dont light it up. Thats all I'm saying.
Im hoping we can make the job better by being decent with eachother- and telling you that, at least at my center, almost everyone is working hard, and taking responsibility for our calls. As far as us being "dumb" or w/e it was someone said- Ok, you do understand that we first get 2 months of training, then another month of nesting before we hit the floor, and once we're there, every second day or so we are reqd to go to supp training? I would say that we're well trained, up to date, and trained way beyond CSR, so I would have to dispute that comment. Sorry you feel that way.
So, peace to everyone,
and.. lol, 'Hello!' - Im Drew, Ill be around the forums- its sweet to find a zone of ppl who actually understand what it is I do all day!!!
( Oh, and I'm from Canada too! )
