I got my S105 on Thursday and played with it a little that night. Later I installed EasyGPRS on my laptop (Windows 2000). Then I proceeded to upload some wallpapers and ring tones via IrDA.

Everything worked fine and I turned off my phone. The next morning I woke up and turned on my phone, and everything looked normal. Then I goto Menu->Phone Settings->My Settings and...

My phone crashed and restarted itself! I thought it was a one time problem and waited for the restart. When it loaded the wallpaper was gone and all the pictures and ring tones I uploaded the night before had disappeared. I goto My Settings to check, and the phone restarts again!

Everything else works fine but I can't goto My Settings without it restarting now. So I reset my phone.

Now I can goto My Settings fine, but I can't transfer anything to my phone. I always get "Fail to send" error and other times i get "Not Connect" error when trying to load from the SIM.

In either case the program can see my phone, but I can't upload anything. Is there something wrong with my phone? Has anyone else had the same problem? Thanks.

I had a similar thing happen to me except that my phone didn't reset itself. For some reason when I uploaded to it it would magically disappear and now it gives me "Failed to send" messages in ring tones, and fake downloads wallpapers (The status bar will fill up, but no wallpaper).

I've tried to fix this for awhile now, but I'm starting to think it might be just a gliche. Anyone else have problems like this?

I exchanged my phone and got a new one. The new one works without any problems. Maybe you just got defective phones.

Hi Everyone

I called Samsung support about this problem and here's the answer I got. If you download a problematic picture or ring tone, it sometimes screwed up the download section.

This results in messing up the memory completely since they all share it. To solve the problem you need to wipe the memory by hitting:

After I did this I could download pictures and ring tones again! Yay! icon_w00t.gif
