Frist btw that is in every phone manule, it is a way for the manfa. to cover there ass. if you look there is about 50 things in there that cover anything that could happen(but will most likely not) happen.

And I got my CU500 Friday and I can not wait to get my Bluetooth apter for my computer and my headset, and my micro SD. and to let you guys know you can find some good prices at Newegg.com, they have a micro SD card for 39.99 and wireless headsets for great prices. Also you can get a wireless dongul that is bluetooth and they are cheap like 20 bucks.

I payed $80 for my CU500, and I have to say I am glad I did. I am having one problem I download some ringtones from the mall and now I can use them for everyone but I can not use them for just one or two of my contacts, anyone know what to do about that. Also is there a way to change the banner, I just am one of those people that like to different things, hehe...

I would have to say I am glad I got this phone instead of paying 20 bucks more for a Razr this phone blows the razr out of the water... the CU500= icon_ninja.gif

I got the new LG Cu500 last week, and its awesome! icon_w00t.gif and the only little problem i have with it, is that i cant make the ringtones start without fading in. When somebody calls me, the ringtone fades in, and i sorta like it when it just starts at the normal volume. I read the manual but cant seem to find the answer. Maybe the software doesnt have this option... If anyone knows how to fix this please reply.

thanks

from what i have found in other forums and from cingular, there is no sync software for the cu500 yet. LG says they are working on it. cingular doesn't know. on another forum they talk about a company called data pilot that will have software before LG..worth a look...

has anyone bought a usb data cable for the CU500 in the last few days...its backordered everywhere i look.
thanks

i finally gave up trying to get my CU500 to act as laptop modem. i tried Cingular's communications manager, Kensington bluetooth software, and a manual connection.....in desperation I discovered the phone in Motorola's phone tools....and it connected immediately! the text messaging works too, but not the sync. so far.

Hi everyone,

I just got my CU500 last week and have started using it. One quick question, how do you get the CU500's addressbook to alphabetize? After manually transferring some addresses over Bluetooth (tedious, but tolerable...barely), I noticed that the names were NOT in alphabetical order...not by first name, last name, or any order I can tell aside from the order I transferred the names.

In addition, the search feature doesn't seem to be working either. Since a couple M entries are not in order, tapping in the name in the search doesn't seem to bring them up either.

Can someone help me? Am I doing something wrong, or does the phone not sort the names? Thanks!
