Ok so I love this phone but does anyone know how I can play my songs on my memory card by pushing the play button on the outside of the phone. I have tried everything. The only way I can play my music is by going into my stuff and choosing the memory card. Any help would be great

just got mine last Friday.
1. you can use other SD cards. I have a Patriot 1GB transflash. fine.
2. voice dial is great. assign the *8 to the 8 key. one touch. easy
3. going nuts trying to get my address book on here. mass storage with new cable is fine, but it does not appear as com port so none of the synchronize software sees it.
any assistance would be great on this contact synch issue. I have the LG software, no joy. also I have the version from Australia. no joy.
thx...

just to let you all know... LG is a piece of crap corporation and apparently they just found out recently that ONLY sandisk microSD cards will work n the new CU500... so if you're like me and bought anything other than sandisk, you're SOL
GREAT!
thanks LG...

I have an other than San Disk Micro SD card working perfectly. It's a Patriot 1Gb purchased for $24.99 US at Frys electronics. It has a lifetime warrantee and seems to be fine. All 5 directories show up fine,
Music
Graphics
Audios
Temp
Videos
I've even been able to use the internal method of moving images sent to me via MMS to the card's Graphics directory for storage.
I can access the directories fine using the $9.99 USB cable I purchased at www.bargaincell.com ( I do not work for them) with the connection set to Mass Storage.
I've even got the Australian LG synch program working with that cable, but that took more work as windows really isn't terribly good at using USB ports.

The system will not let me post the link to the software but google "LG CU500 Phone Sync" and the first link titled LG CU500 Data Cable and Software should take you to another forum which has the link to the australian version of the software that will work for the CU 500
