sup all, i have verizon wireless as my current provider and i am gettin these two phones for free through this deal online...so price wise, they both are the same....also their features as far as specs are pretty much the same too...therefore i am haveing a very difficult time deciding between the two, especially after reading the reviews for both of them. here are the specs for both of em:

so basically after looking at both of those, they pretty much are the same...however, after reading some reviews and puttin my own thought into it...this is wut i have thought of so far for each phone...plz correct me if i am wrong or help me decide on a phone...the samsung phone looks way better in my opinion than the lg phone so thas the plus for that...however the LG phone supposedly has better signal than the samsung phone but NOT THAT big of a difference when compared to the difference between them in looks...(again my opinion)....so yea...i cant decide on wut to do ><...

Lg is slightly better on signal and standby time and it is selling better than the Samsung, but if you like the looks of the Samsung better then I think you should get it.

Is the samsung phone pretty reliable too? like i saw the awards the lg phone got...editor's choice #1, best sellling #2, most popular #2...which is pretty impressive,....the samsung is #7 for both best selling and most popular and not even on the editor's choice...like is it realli a good idea to go for looks and sacrifice quality of signal etc.? like i mean...is the samsung's quality as a phone (not looks) close enough to the LG phone (not as good as the LG phone, but close enough to it), so that it would be fine to sacrifice that slight change in quality and to go for samsung's looks? or is LG the clear cut choice?

they're both made in Korea but I've come to rely more on the LGs, as I've heard less complaints about them. Can't make the decision for you, but if I were in your place, I'd get the LG.

OH...btw sry i didnt notice this earlier...but the samsung model is sch-a930...not a390...hahaha sry my bad...

i had the vx8300 and i thought it was a great phone
that was of course until i dropped it into a hottub...
but the rest of my family also enjoys the phone

i've had the sch-a930 for a month now and it's actually a pretty good phone. i have a good history with samsung phones so when this came out i was excited for it. it's actually pretty good. i can hear people crystal clear and they can hear me, the camera on it is really nice (1.3 mp) and has a lot of settings to mess around with. The mp3 player is nice too for when I can't bring my ipod with me. Also, the outside display is beautiful.  I love it.
I like LG too but I've noticed that their battery life isn't very good. I've gone through 3 LG phones also that lasted me forever but i noticed the battery life isn't great.
