Hi, my phone died and I'm not up for a new one until Oct.
My daughter has an old sony ericsson T237 that I can use until then, the only problem is that it was registered to Sprint and I'm on the old AT&T, which is now run by Cingular. Does anyone know how to unlock this sony and how I go about gettting my AT&T sim card to work on it? Many thanks in advance, I hope someone can help me, otherwise, I'll have to pay for a new phone that I could get for free in Oct.

it says that this phone is GSM 850 / GSM 1900, so I'm confused now.

Yeah, but why did you say it was used on the Sprint network. That cannot be because as elmo pointed out, Sprint uses CDMA, while the T237 uses GSM. Two different wireless technologies that are not compatible. Are you sure you were talking about Sprint, or did you mean SunCom?
But in any case, just get the phone unlocked.
