How do you take things off of the miniSD card? I transferred some pictures frmo my phone, onto my card.
Then i inserted the card into my computer and took the selected pics onto my desktop, but then when i tried to delete them from the card, i wasnt able to, 'disk protected' it said?
Same when i tried to remove my mp3's and put them into 'my music'
Let me know, please!
thanks

shoul be able to go to system, manage memory, options and format card.
with the 9800 to remove musci u go to tunes and tones, manage music, then select songs and in the right hand corner it hhas options, scroll down and erase the song u want.... should similar with the pictures but in pix and flix..... another option is to attach phone using a usb and in the e drive it will let u remove them that way as well.

New comers please over look the miss-info on the above post. The LG VX 8300 takes Micro SD NOT Mini SD.
A small error I know but I almost made the misstake of buying a Mini instead of the Micro due to posts like this one.

Actually u need the mini sd convertor to transfer things from the micro... often seen on ebay as micro w/mini sd convertor.

What format do the songs have to be in when you put them on the Micro SD card from your computer?

I have a lg9800 and I format wav. using media player. However after discovering a secret window and was able to enable the mp3 player I can also do mp3's.

You cannot remove something while viewing it at the same time. Make sure the only window open is the one you are using to delete the photos.

I have a problem -- with my VX8300, I was able to enable MP3 playing from the hidden menu and it STILL does not allow me to play or move MP3 music onto my phone. The only format I got to work so far was WMA, but why should MP3 play work for others and not for me?

Did you put the mp3 files in the mp3 folder? My first attempt I put them in the music folder and it didn't work. I can only transfer songs to the card with a reader. The cable didn't work for me.

Yes, I put them in the proper folder and used a microSD card. No dice.
