I have a Motorola RAZR V3i phone. I went into "fixed dialing" it asked me for a sim pin. I hit "0000" "1234" "12345" Now it says sim blocked. when I turn it on I am still able to make/receive calls or even go to any menu's.
Is there anyway to fix this?
I just called Cingular and she told me they would fix it for free because they are upgrading to the 64k sims. Well when we migrated from ATT to Cingular out phones came with these 64K sims already so would it still be free?
Edit: You see I would really like it if its still free because I have no money and are looking for a job.
Note: I am still able to use it but when I go to "security" there PIN2 is blocked it says the following:
PIN2 Blocked
Contact provider,
PIN2 Blocked
Enter PUK2

Well since I bought it off ebay and its not branded it does not ask me for a PUK code, but when I put the sim card in a cingular branded phone it asks me for a PUK2 code in the security settings.
See I have a RAZR V3i and when I go to fixed dial it sayd SIM Blocked but im still able to make calls and other things. I put the SIM in a Cingular braded phone and in security there is something that says PIN2, and im guessing thats what the RAZR V3i cheks the PIN2 and since I put a incorrect code three times its blocked elthought im still able to make a receive calls.

put it in another phone then get the PUK from customer care. after the sim is unrestricted, put it back in your original phone.

customer care will also have PUK2 there are 2 PUKs
just call them and let them know you entered in PUK1 already and now it's asking you for PUK2.

PUK 2 is a little more serious than PUK 1...
(we used to have to call tech if there was a PUK 2 indication but no longer)
if the PUK2 works thats good... but I wouldnt be suprised if you need a new sim (it generally means a partially corrupt SIM)
