Don,
Thanks first for the firmwares you provided.
However, I haven't found one suitable for my V200 bought in Singapore.
I want chinese characters.
The only one I flashed successfully is G3 beta 2, but the bugs it has gave me too much troubles, then I flashed it back to my original English version.
But I know, in the market, there are people providing modifications to chinese. They asked for 40 dollars. What firmwares do you think they are using? or they will modify my handphone to V208 compatiable?
Last, please suggest some possible firmwares for V200 (Exciting) to view chinese.
best regards,

Yo Don!
Thanx for the tip on e715-> e710 (vodolised).
Done that, works fines, except for the menus.
Flashed it with another version of optiflash 3.6.0.4 from a vietnam site.
(the copy you have does not work on all the cables, well there are some original samsung cables out there without switches)
The version of optiflash i have requires me to switch to "D/L" instead of "Data"
Had an bad expriences with dead V2xx, now I know there are different types of optiflash lying out there,
BTW, why is your ftp always down? need a mirror ftp?
I am trying to build a library like yours too.
Cheers

Strange if i switch my cable to D/L my screen doesn't turn on white and it just starts.

Its always down cause its killing my neighbours bandwidth (thats what my isp says) and somwthing with FUP 180GB. A mirror would be nice where do you want me to upload them for you?

to Don:
This is the second time it has problem with firmware (I think it's because of firmware!). And the SMS always store in phone, not in SIM.

Dear Don,
Mind to elaborate the details?
For example, when using optiflash3.6, which phone model should I choose?
V200, V200-E5 or V208?
Do I need to type something after flashing to recover some settings?
I flashed my phone with V28ZCWH2. When I chose V200, it has a blinking
screen.
Later I chose V28ZCWE8 and V200-E5, everything seems OK, but there is
no ring tone (vibration works).
What should I do?
best regards,

Funny, maybe I should pass you the other copy of optiflash I found that works with the other "OEM" cables like mine. Can I upload to the ftp server?

>*cough cough*<
180GB is too much to carry, LOLz!
What do you have in there?!
I might be able to do that later in the future when I get more HDD spaces.
