I dont know if anyone else has said this, but i only found this forum today, and I am not keen to read thru 48 pages of forum.
Anyway, i have a V200 and i want to backup the firmware then try this whole flashing thing... but when it says "hit the on/off button" i do it and the phone turns on like normal... what is wrong?

- Is the cable set to the right comport?
- Is the screen white when you plug in the cable?
- Is the cable switched to DATA?
- Do you have a cable

I have ver E700DXDA2 just only have Eng Malay and viet. Can I upgrade To chinese version or any better ver?

Arn't that the E70DX... firmwares? don't know if they work i never tried them.

hello, I have this problem
I have a V200 and used two firmware
V200DXWK2
V20XXWG1
but when I light the telephone with the inserted SIM, say error SIM
when the optiflash finishes not appear “all is well” but if say finished work,
I take out the battery for a moment and then I insert it with the SIM and say error SIM
it doesn't recognize my card SIM but the card this well.
the original firmware is V20UWWJ3
that I am making bad that makes lack and please which Firmware has Spanish for that I am in south america

Hi ALL ,
Bigtime NooB here  This is the first thread I've read since I registered 20 min back 
I currently have a samsung E715 with the firmware as follows:
Rev E7 1.8 ( wht does this mean ? )
E75UVWL2 ( wht does this mean ?)
Are there any updates available for English language ?
How do I back up Firmware?

Few more questions :
Is there a list of codes / numbers... that can give more information about the phone or let me work with some functionalities ..
Like *#9999# gives the firmware details . Thats the only one I know since someone posted it here 
Any help will be whole-heartedly appreciated
