yes on the moment i turn on the phone and it makes the sound of being connected to a datacable the dumper says 'time out'

what firmware can i intall? are the firmware for v200 and 208 compatible? am from the philippines, the built in firware does not work for my mms provider (Globe Telecoms).

Try downloader and if it starts remove the cable. If it starts its downloader if not its your cable.

You can install al the firmwares listed under SGH-V20x. Call your provider and ask them the settings if you want to use MMS.
@d3vil
If are or know a Developer maybe you or that person can change the functions in the firmware.

Ok with the downloader 3.3 it works
but what do i have to choose for a complete backup? NOR or NAND (complete TFS) flash?
and will i lose all my ringtones etc? I guess so....

Nor is BIN
NAND is TFS
The ringtones are on the NAND

ok allready found them
first thx for all the help u already have given me
dumping the bin file was no problem...
but when i went dumping the nand file i accidentally pushed the power on button twice so it went off again... the dumper hanged and i had to close it off..
now when im trying to dump the nand file, @ 10 % i get a 'Unknown NAND dump error'
what to do?
