The only problem of the BODA is that it has branded pictures inside which you can change with Samsung DIY or http://januka.altervista.org
@ekimo
Did samsung also told you where to get the upgrade? Cause that will slove your problem but all the chinese firmwares i have are downgrades compared to the one you have. Could you make a backup for us? (With V200 as model selected if your planning to)

Thanks Don,
one question, how are those .cfg and .tfs files for the java games different to the .jad and .jar files that are sometimes available? Can those .jad and .jar file be flashed via downloader 3.3 via nand as well?
oops that is two questions!
cheers

The .cfg is nothing. The .tfs is not only for java games it also contains pictures and ringtones. You can't flash .jad nor .jar via downloader 3.3.
@ryancguy
If it does change the time/date it would be very easy to change that back. You only have to do the reset codes if your phone do strange things after flashing. And i don't know if its still so but when i used to flash my V200 all the tones and pictures where replaced during flashing.

well, the time and date are formatted for european time i believe . . . . and they said the reset codes are what clears everything. I want to flash so i can get pictures through a cable, t-mobile blocked it so i cant do it with their firmware . . . so i dont really want to lose the pictures

i have an E700, would you be kind enough to share the java games you have?
my email is "noddyc43@yahoo.com.au"

hey sure np the games are Boxen, MotoGP Full, Pacman, Snake and Snowball Fight
the link to download them is
http://www.tonix-online.de/xpmod/Java%20Spiele.zip
They are in tfs and cfg it is easy to flash these to your E700 simply use Downloader 3.3 and select nand only in the select mode open the right file after you have extracted it from winrar and then start its pretty simple, you probably already knew how but just incase

hi Don, sorry for not replying the SAMSUNG Service center.
When I ask them about my problem. they try to upgrade but they have problem
upgrading the v208. so they have to consult the SAMSUNG outside Philippines
about this problem. And it takes 5 days to have the result.
The upgrading of firmware here in the Philippines is so expensive it
cost $30USD.
Thats why I come to this forum to do it and solve this by myself...
please help me don

Thanks for clearing up the jad/ jar and tfs/ctg difference. Am i right in saying then that if you want to download a java game it has to jad and jar? One fella on the other forums has a program that claims to able to upload java games to the E700. i am asking cause I have a few games in Jad format on my computer.
Chris

I have a few V208 firmwares but all the ones i have are older than the one you have on your phone thats why i don't think they will fix the 128K Sim problem. You can upload it to ftp://Upload:upload@80.56.88.11/ if you want.
My adress is "Don_x1@hotmail.com". But if you have guarantee on that phone they mostly do it for free.
@art3m1s
The flasher is zipt with the firmwares.
@noddy
Yes the games must be in .jad and .jar format. If you have a cable that works you could use that uploader to upload games yes.
