Don, is the link of the firmware you refer to is the same on the first page of the discussion? Coz I can't get into it and download...
If it's the same as the first page of our discussion, I have tried it again on v208 but it does not work...double check optiflash is 3.6.0.4

i have read somewhere that the e5 (of the v200) contains some kind of java.Is that true?

No it isn't you only can push the java reset code.

The firmware that I had got is from the first page too...but it didn't work even with the 3.6.0.4
can I ask is it feasible to use my v205 phone...choosing the v208 platform? so should i try again with the v200 platform...
had tried it like you said but to no avail...choosing the v208 platform...
