that's an awesome phone. well depends on manufacturer of the memory cards to make them work properly for 1gb. my nokia 3300 is supposed to be 128 memory but I have a bigger memory card than that. I'd check with samsung tho or find somone that has one and ask them if they can take bigger memory cards capacity.

I couldnt find any 'offical' info on it- but people are doing it! EG with the SanDisk 1GB MicroSD-" I have 70 songs on my samsung d807, the whole 3rd season of futurama, and still have room! love it. "

This is for a 1GB Flash Media mem tho- is that what you'd be looking for?

I cannot figure this out for the life of me. I bought the 512mb microsd memory card and when I put it in my Samsung d807 it shows it's in there but then when I try to do anything with it, it tells me there is an error to re-insert it. And I have no clue how to put songs on there for ringtones. Someone please help! Thanks.

I'd also like to know, can the phone ring and vibrate at the same time? Or is it like other samsung phones, where it vibrates 3 times, then rings? Thanks!!

For the vibrate AND ringtone thing---I found it tonight when I was just messing around with the phone, but it is actually in the manual too, as follows:
Sound Settings
You can customize various sound settings.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.
2. Select Settings and press the Select soft key or the key.
3. Select Sound Settings and press the Select soft key or the key.
The following options are available. Use the Down Navigation key to scroll
to and set options:
Incoming Call
This menu allows you to make a selection from the following categories:
• Shop Tones: allows you to access the internet to shop for a new ringtone.
• RingTone: allows you to select from the preloaded ringtones.
• Volume: allows you to set the default volume for your ringer to sound when receiving
an incoming call.
• Alert Type: allows you to set the alert default. Choose from Melody, Vibration,
Vibration then Melody, or Vibrate and Melody.

I was just wondering, I put music onto my phone using a USB cable.. Is there any way to use the music as a ringtone? I can't figure it out.

The mp3s used for ringtones need to have a bitrate of 192kbps or less, a file size less than 600kb and the name can't be longer than 32(?) characters. You can download Audacity for free, from http://audacity.sourceforge.net, to edit the songs. Around 20 or so seconds is about right for a ringtone. Then store them on your phone and when you get a call you can hesitate answering so everyone can hear your cool ringtone.
