VS
I'm about to sign up for another two years with T-mobile and I need a new phone. Right now I have a moto v180 which is barely working now. So I want to upgrade my phone. I'm done with moto's and am looking at the samsung T509 or T809. I've heard good and bad about both phones. All I really do is text and make calls on my phone. No internet or e-mail(cuz I don't want to pay extra). Since it's about a $100 difference between the two phones, which one is better overall for those who have it or have used it?
Thanks!

i really like my t809.
and i've heard the t509 lacks a lot of features. also the 509 is a tall phone physically.

Yea I went to T-mobile and tried both of them out. They need to setup a week try out plan or something. I really want to use both before I make my choice.

I'm in the same boat (t509 vs t809). which one did you choose, and what do you think?

Is the sound any better on the t809? Also, does the t809 ring louder? Is the message indicator louder? I've got 7 days left to trade in my t509 for a t809.

take the 809. trust me if you want a phone that has it all just get that one. and it you go to letstalk.com you could get it for free after rebates and get a free bluetooth headphone. it worked for me. trust me the 809 is such a better deal. ill give you three reasons. the 809 has a video recorder that goes forever were as the 509 only goes for a limeted time. the picture quality is ALOT better. and the 809 has expandable memory so you can have up to a gig of memory. that sells it for me. i hope it helps you too
