When sending MP3s to my phone, I get a "email didn't work" thing in my mail box, but when I send Midis, it actually sends to my phone.
Weird. Oh, and if you're looking for good midi files, go to http://www.vgmusic.com

ok i just got the VX8500 chocolate on christmas, i'm new to the phone thing but i am not new to computers. i bought the music essentials kit and i've already transferred mp3s to my cell phone via my computer (windows explorer) now i'm trying to get those songs as ringtones. i've already got hundreds of files from limewire and i have Wavepad so i have the files for the ringtones. now i just need to download them to my phone. Also, i have bitpim too but i deleted the piece of S**t. it never reconized my phone. it did once but it wont any more. will someone plaese help me.

Ok everyone, recently, i have had many people (including myself) who have had a problem getting your ringtones on your phone via email, i have used that method in the past, but it seems like verizon is catching on and they terminated that method because they are no fun. But i have a solution... Check out my forum cause i dont want to type it all over haha.
Here it is: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic54720.html

Hey spamassaisn, every time that i download Bitpim, it never recognizes my phone, it doesn't detect it. do you have any idea why that happens. and if not is there another program that communicates with cell phones like bitpim?

Do any errors come up when you plug in your phone? And when you do does it show up on your My Computer folder or come up in the bottom right corner of your monitor? (assuming you have windows)...
