I keep getting an error when using bitpim that says that it's blocked by the provider. Is the email trick the only way to do this now?

Okay so.
When you email the ringtone to yourself from vzwpix, as stated in the first page or so.
I read that your phone downloads it?
I can't use the internet on my phone, but i have a text plan.
Does the message just count as a textmessage, or does it also require internet?

I was curious what are those 7 numbers dialed when you transfer the ringtones. I saw this and it made me nervous. what is that all about?

how do i format my micro sd card from my phone. I got a 1gig u-tek micro sd card and the phone shows that symbol on the screen but it doesnt read it as memory so i read i had to fomat the card from my phone. but i cant find an option to do this. I have a telus version of the chocolate phone.

on my VX8500, you go to settings & tools, memory, card memory, then click the OPTIONS tab down in the bottom right of the screen. format card will be right there. then it will set up your folders so you can put music. etc.

okie i called telus and they said how to format it.(menu-music & media- my albums-external memory-options then format).
Anyways i do it but it loads then gives me a msg saying failed. Anyone know why I get this messege?

I'm having the same trouble as fritz1up, it seems as LG has caught on.or maybe we are just doing it wrong?
I'd like another way to do it rather than emailing it to myself.
