Is there something that i need to turn on my phone or is Verizon at this point pretty smart and blocks everything sent. I allso tried the making small mp3 files and that doesnt work, used the audcity and all that NUTHING.never get the e-mails. Any one know any way to get the ringtones.

Hi guys,
I just bought a LG chocolate and as you know it comes with VCAST free for a month and then VZ charges $15 per month. You just have to cancel it before the month ends.
So i've been emailing the mp3 to my xxxxxxxxxxx@atvzwpix dot com and when i get it, i just select "save as ringtone". So it works fine and all.
(fyi: i do have txt msg service)
But my q's
1. Is sending email w/ mp3 attachment to my phone covered by VCAST or my Text msg service ?
if its covered by my txt msg service then i'm gonna cancel it right now if its covered by VCAST then i'm abuse it for a month and then cancel before the VCAST subscribtion cost of $15 starts after next 30 days.
Help !
thanks

I've been trying to get a ring tone onto my phone through txting but it won't work.
I go into audacity, edit the song, save the mp3 file. and email it to my number xxxxxxxxxx msg telus com (I'm with Telus, can I not do this because of that maybe?) and I have the Chocolate flip phone, does it maybe not support it?
help plz?

I'm also having the same problem. I have a 8500 (with Telus) and when I try to email myself an mp3 file to xxxxxxxxxx@msgDOTtelusDOTcom, it goes through, but the attachments don't. I tried attaching midis, mp3s and jpgs, but none work. It just shows up as "<<FILE>>" when I check my text messages. When I go "Options > Save", there is no option for saving a picture or sound. My files are all under 300kb.
However, I can receive pictures and sounds from my friends when they send them through their phones.
What's wrong? =S Could it be the email provider? I've tried with Gmail and Hotmail.
