Hi there. I have an LG800 that I just bought yesterday however my provider is Bell instead of verizon. I have followed all the pages so far and the issues seem similar however the only thing that i cannot understand is that how should I integrate the LG800 driver dll file ( that I downloaded from Bells website) with LG downloader 1.6?
I ask this because when i open LG downloader 1.6 and click to select the dll file.it doesnt give me an option to browse and choose the dll file of LG800 that I have saved on my hard drive. Which way can i select it ? PLEASE HELP?

Spunko, have you found a way to utilize BitPim to work yet? Is CarlysHelpline and nelendil12's versions the only way these days to get Ringtones on the Chocolate? Is there an easier way like it was before VZW did the block?
Thank you

Hey guys,
I've read through all 29 pages of this forum and have tried a few of the methods, all the ones that involve e-mailing the clip to my phone, and it still isn't working for me. So maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong?
I used Audacity to edit an mp3, converted it to a mp3, and e-mailed it to myself using the vzw pix. By doing that, I am able to receive the ringtone and even save it to my phone if I want to, but the quality is horrible.
So, I tried doing the other method a few posts ago converting it to a qcp file before sending it and the quality is still poor.
I keep reading that people are receiving ringtones in good quality so what am I doing wrong? Hopefully someone can help me out. I would be forever grateful!

BitPim is the only way I knew how to get a good quality sound ringtone on the chocolate but since it's blocked out, I personally don't know any other good way. I just received my Chocolate phone about 2 weeks ago therefore, it's got the latests updates as well so now, I'm having the same issue as danc3pirate.

I KNOW HOW TO DO IT. :]
@.@
i got a new chocolate today because my old one
broke and blahblahblah.
anyways.
go and uninstall bitpim. and download the LATEST
version of bitpim. the number was somethign like
9.15 somethignseomthgin. >.< (sorry)
okay after you install and your running the program click on the phone book tab on the side.
on the top left corner there should be a button that has an arrow pointing to a phone. click that and this thing should pop out. click phone book (or somethign like that) and next to that click "add". after you do that send the contacts back to your phone by clicking on the button that has an arrow pointing away from the phone. this should of turned your phone onto DM mode.
if that up there worked for you than your ready to go. :]] now you can send ringtones to your phone the way you used to do on the old version of bitpim.
heh stupid verizon. @.@ trying to take our money.

Is there anyway to copy mp3 files directly to a microSD card and use it as ringtones? Do I need to create a my_ringtones folder? Or is there a special folder that I need to create on the microSD card? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
