I didnt purchase the cu500 yet but i heard you can download your tv shows and movies into the cu500 via usb cable. i want to know what kind of format the video must be in while transfering does anyone know. Ex wmv
Also while transfering movies do u just transfer it like you transfer mp3's for usb cable? I did research but know one seems to know anything on this topic.
thanks.

the only codec i've seen supported in any reviews/details is 3GP for recording/watching video. try a converter like this, or something.
So all i do is download this program then just transfer the program into my phone via usb cable... then the videos, and movies will work? Sorry i have no clude what im doing.

i have no clue either. just what i've seen by doing research
as elmo said, it seems as though it may be some trial and error. i'd suggest trying to convert a short clip first and loading it to the phone and playing it. in all the sites i've seen, it never mentiones anything about other codecs for the cu500 and video capability besides cingular video.

You just convert the files in your computer. It's going to be converted into 3GP Quicktime. After that just transfer it by either USB cable or memory card through card reader. Have fun with your new phone.

You got it. It's very simple, it just takes a little while to get used to if it this is your 1st time. Afterwards, it just becomes easy.
