For some reason when I look at pics and just in general the screen is a little too bright. Is there anyway to change the settings?
There is no brighness in the menu so can someone help?

as far as i can see, there's no brightness option, but if you go into your display settings, there's no option to select, but you can adjust the contrast by using the up/down keys on the left side of the phone.

after you go into display settings, go into menu styles. you'll only see "bar style" and "page style"
but from there you can adjust the contrast with the side keys, according to this...

This started as a faulty product issue. I purchased 3 samsung cellphones e715 over a year ago. Since that time my wife and i have exchanged these phones for the same reason several times while under warranty. Now the warranty was up and the issue was still there. It is clear that samsung should have recalled these phones over a year ago. If you search online this modle # e715 all you see is people with the same lcd display issue.
After numerous attempts to contact samsung, i finally recieved a call from Greg Crenshaw. After explaining to him the issue and letting him know that i would go on all the online forums and petition for a recall of this phone he agreed to fix the phones. This was on July 24th on the 28th i recieved the package with return lable to send my phones in. after a week without a reply, i called to inquire on the progress,i was originaly told that the phones will be "flashed" then sent back overnight, Greg stated that "he had the phones in his hands and that one is fixed but the other one cannot be fixed" i was not happy but i said ok go ahead and send them back. He said that they'd be out the next day. Now on the 23rd of August, still no phones, I called again only to be told that my phones were lost. Greg agreed to overnight a similar model the next day. On the 25th of August, I called to make sure phones were shipped, Greg stated that "we don't have that model available right now and you have to wait and find out when we can ship the phones until Monday". I am upset to say the least, my wife does not have a phone and I am using a friends, Monday will be over a month without phones from an overnight promise!

I am still disputing with Samsung.
