I'm sorry to bother everyone, but my younger brother was messing around with my Razr and somehow he deleted somethings and i noticed the extra space but i would like to restore my phone to normal because my ringtone doesn't ring at all when anyone call. I tried changing the Loud details but then i don't see my ringtones i have on the list. I was wondering if anyone can help. Thanx.

a master reset will set things back to default settings, including personalized settings. you'll have set them back up if you've personalized things.

Master Reset:

From the stand by screen, press the Menu key.

Scroll to "Settings", then press Select.

Scroll to "Initial Setup", then press Select.

Scroll to "Master Reset", then press Select.

Enter Security Code (default: 00000000), OK.

Confirm "Reset All Phone Settings?" Select YES.

Master reset complete, phone restarts.

Sorry if you misunderstood. i'll go in steps

i went into the settings

then to audio

then Loud Dtail

then went into Calls

that's where i can't find my ringtones at but i can find them in sounds..it just doesn't show up on the list

sorry, but i'm not sure. from the sounds folder, are you able to set them as ringtones, then go into calls to select them? that's the only option i have. hopefully someone else will come around with a more definite answer.

YOu can use P2kman to delete the 2 .DB files then restart you fone, you can also use motokit 1.06 to do fix ringtone detail.

To get it back to factory as you wish , remove the battery and read the s/w or type *#9999# on your fone to get the s/w then look for the monster pack with that name and flash it in

old fool...would a master clear (as opposed to a master rest) do the same thing, but much easier?

The master clear will earaise everything you have puting on the fone
Master reset will put every setting back to factory.
In this case will not work.
Tell you brother to do this .
Use p2kaman to delete the 2 files .DB then restart the fone and that will fix it
