I'm having some problems with my Jabra BT150 headset and Chocolate. People I call complain of a very bad echo. It seems to get better if I turn down the earpiece volume. Rather than having to do this, I would like to get a different earpiece that works correctly at all volume levels. Do any of you have any suggestions for a better earpiece? Or is it related to the phone itself?

It's your headset that's causing the problem. The BT150 is kind of like an entry level headset. If you want better call clarity, try upgrading to a BT350 or a Plantronics 320 at least. If money is not an issue, go for the JX10. However, the JX10 is best used for an office environment only where it is mainly quiet because it picks up background noise quite easily. If you're going to use it outside, you can try out the Scala 500 or the Moto HS850.

I just got the BT150 to go with my new LG VX8500 Chocolate. When I use it people on the other end can hear an echo.
It looks like I will have to get a different head set now
What a pain in the rear!

I hope you didn't pay over $20 for that headset, because that would be expensive for such a basic model. Check out sites like Pricegrabber and Bizrate, they compare prices from different vendors. Or if your comfortable, try eBay...got my Jabra JX10 for $40, and it works perfectly.
