I'm currently lost, on which phone I should get.

I need a phone that is quite slim, a slider, and utilizes
external memory.

I narrowed it down to:

D840 (11.9mm thick, 100g)
D900 (12.9mm thick, 85g)
E900 (16.5mm thick, 93g)

Price and Mp3 playable time is also a factor in the decision.

So I want your opinion on which I should get icon_smile.gif

Now for the questions...

1)The three phones above are v1.2 or higher Bluetooth, right?

2)Mp3 playable time = Talk time?

3)Anyone know how to listen to music on the mono headsets
(sold by Samsung) rather then through those bulky large
A2DP STEREO headsets?

P.S.
A2DP headsets are ALL Stereo, right?
No such thing as a Mono A2DP headset?

Before I got my D900 I had the E900 and I must say its much better in all ways. The thing about the E900 that I hate the most is the touch buttons, my finger always slips to the on/off button canceling everything, it's to sensetive.

Real stanby time:
E900 - 4 days
D900 - ~4.5 days

Talktime:
E900 - 3h
D900 - 4h

1. The D900 has 2.0 and the rest 1.2 .

2. Don't know how long you can play mp3's I haven't tried that yet I was to busy searching for theme's and trying to flash the phone icon_biggrin.gif

3. Which headsets do you mean? The headsets that came with the phones are stereo but it didn't stay in my ears their big.

All A2DP sets are stereo.

Don't know about the D840 but of the two I recomment the D900.

Three things I like the most abouth the D900:

1. Finally MP3 ringtones + Vibration at the same time.

2. Themes (It lives, you'll see birds, clouds and it gets dark):

3. The 3.14MP camera with AutoFocus:

PS: SE K750i's Camera is better.

What I mean about the headsets is:

Can you listen to music on those "Mono" Bluetooth
Headsets, for example the Samsung wep 200: one ear piece headset.

From what I heard, you can only listen to music on
"Stereo" Bluetooth Headsets such as Samsung SBH100EBE:
two ear piece headset.

Thus, what I mean is, is there a way to listen to music on a
single/one ear piece "Mono" Bluetooth headset such as Samsung WEP 200?

I heard it's not generally possible, only A2DP supporting two ear piece
"Stereo" headsets can allow you to hear music from your phone.

However, I've also heard someone flashing the phone in order to be
able to listen to music on a single/one ear piece "Mono" headset...

That explains, that...

And tnx for the quick reply icon_smile.gif

Nope it doesn't work with those, while searching it only finds the A2DP headsets.

BTW, Don, could be so kind as to find out how long you can play
mp3s on the D900 that you have?

If it is close to 3hr 30min, mp3 play time = talk time

If it is not, well, I guess I'll figure it out some how icon_twisted.gif

wow... my D500 supposedly has 6h talk time, but only played
mp3s (not bluetooth, but from the phone itself) for 3h 30min.

hmmmmmmm, maybe I should go ask some one in the cellphone
department (telecommunications) at Samsung icon_redface.gif
