Whenever I have 1 call active and either put them on hold or make another call for a conference/3-way call I get the silent mode icon. But even after I end the conference call, that stays on and I can't use the buttons if I next dial a number that requires a "press 1 for..." The buttons don't register. I have to turn my phone off and back on to reset it back to normal.
I saw that if you press & hold # it turns silent mode on and supposedly you press and hold # again to shut it off but it stays on.
Is there a way to end a conference call that I'm missing to reset this? Is this the way it has to be? That I have to shut off my phone everytime I do a 3-way call?
Help?

Not exactly. The 3 way conference call is mainly concerned with the service provider. But it looks like a faulty phone that freezes. Contact the dealer that u bought from.

You can try pressing the power button and select to turn off the silent mode. Also, you can try troubleshooting by pulling out the battery while it is still on, then putting it back in after a few minutes. Or you can do a master reset. If that doesn't work, then do what Bad Boy advised on because you might have a defective phone.
