bro mind uploading and sharing the pc manager plus i cant get it and even understand a single word in anycall site
thanks in advance
K, right now I have to go to work, but I'll leave my local server running. It has incredible upload speeds but I don't really like to use it to serve files, actually run a webhosting business and some other things on the side
This computer is in Korea, so if you are in Korea it should be a fast DL, otherwise, it could be anything from 30-100k who knows. I'll upload it to my other server later..
Haha, I said I wouldn't monitor this post anymore, Iguess I forgot to turn off the email notifications hehe. So Mr. Boom, I guess it is your lucky day.
If anyone else requires further assistance PLEASE contact me via E-mail, there is no guarantee that I will catch notification emails from this forum anymore, I have an iffy spam blocker

UPDATE: I know the links weren;t working earlier but I have fixed it. The first one is a link to my computer's server and the second on is an external server of mine. The second one is always available and the first one is hit and miss.
Good luck.

sir i have converted a mp3 to mmf file and drag it to my sph-s3900 system folder but when i view the saved file in phone mp3 player it cannot be viewed but when i search it in file manager i can view it. how can i assign it as a ringtone in my phone? thanks a lot sir for your future reply.

Yes, AND I have also done an actual ~conversion~ from MP3 to SMP as well. SMP format is something called (SampleVision) or something lame I had never even heard of before getting this phone. The conversion never works either.
I feel like I'm at my wits end with this phone. It is an awesome phone, it's just this mystery that I want to unlock. Anyhow, even when the sample file was in the directory, I was still not able to assign the MP3 to a ringtone. I think the MP3 function is strictly for playing MP3s, like on a bus or something like that. Everyone want's to compete with a iPod.
I don't know why I even bother with trying to figure this damn function out. I just can't stand being beat by a machine.
On another note, it is possible to download MP3s from the net and they go in a special folder. However, I think it has to be from the designated site that comes built into the phone, because I uploaded an MP3 to my server and tried to surf there using the URL function on my phone, and it told me that it wasn't a valid page to navigate to I tried
And any hints on this would be greatly appreciated too.

You cannot place the ringtone files in the MP3 directory and expect them to work. You have to add them to the phone via the ringtone control panel from within the program (the steps are listed on page 1)
The ringtones are not ran from your external drive (the one where your MP3s and pictures reside). They are read from the internal drive, the one that is not accesible from the file system manager, thus, you need to add them via the control panel in the program Good luck

If you have imported the ringtone file via the control panel, you will see the ringtone in the "My Melody" section of the ringtone menu.
If you are looking at the control panel and you see the file in the ringtone control panel, you should be able to find it in the "My Bell" or My" Melody section where your ringtones are.
I would take a look at the screenshots that I posted, however, at this time the server that I had them on is down. I'll try and get them up later, it's just a big server mess for me right now.

I think the converter I used only made it a 1 minute ringtone.

I understand, I really do. Please look at the screenshots that I have posted on page 1. They are back up, perhaps it can clear everything up and shed some light on your situation. Perhaps you weren't trying in the correct area, with the screenshot I point out the area to place your mmf files.
Other than that, I really cannot help you. I haven;t used that program in a really long time. I placed a rather extensive, all inclusive tutorial for both adding mp3 files to your phone and doing the ringtones.
If you cannot get it working, after all of that, then perhaps you are just not doing it correctly, or perhaps your program is malfunctioning.
I'm sorry if this isn't as helpful as you need, but I am no expert, and I didn;t create the program.
Look at the pictures I have posted please, and read the tutorial.
