On a recent holiday in England I purchased a so-called RAZR-V3 Pink phone. It is not V3i nor V3r, simply a V3 on the box. While in England this phone could not be recognized by the TomTom GPS Navigator I was using because the phone would not respond when accessed as a model V3. However when I used RSD Lite 2.4 and attempted to Flash the latest V3 OS, my model was listed as V3v, obviously locked to Vodafone with some special chip set. The flashing failed with a chipset mismatch. Did anybody save the original V3v flash file because I did not (big mistake)? Does anybody know if there is a new Flash which will work with this chipset? I think the phone has a software version R4515_G_08.BD.62R. The monster pack with firmware R374_G_0E.42.10R_PDS005_LP0039 does not work. I have seen some other postings indicating that the V3v firmware may not be available yet. I have not seen any success posted yet. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you messed up the bootloader

Unfortunately AFAIK there is no bootloader available for the V3r at present.

The only work around is to place a magnet under the top of the battery cover (right I think) near the sensor

best flash I've found for the v3r/v3v is R4515_G_08.BD.43R_PDS005_LP0039_DRM0101_JPJAVA_G_0 8_R4515_06_00_02R_GSTRAZR05ORACH07F_1FF
This appears to the the OEM MOTO version and works quite well.
I forget where I got it, someone posted it on rapidshare.de
