just a quick Q - does anyone know if the POP PORT on a 6230 is the same as the POP PORT on a 6233.
I ask as I have a CARK-91 car kit that with an adapter fitted inside the cradle which lets me use m 6230 - I am getting a 6233 as a works mobile and wanted to know if this will fit the same port.
Any help appreciated

It should work without any problems because Nokia doesn't change the allocations of the pins to keep their accessories compatible.
And yes, they are quite the same.

Well, you use an adapter with your 6230 in the past since the carkit isn't compatible at all (at least nokia says so).
There shouldn't be any problems.
And if it doesn't work you can get the carkit afterwards

The POP Port adapter that fits into the existing CARK-91 cradle to allow use of nokia phones such as the 6230 is not compatible with the nokia 6233 because the phone is too wide to sit in it. The POP interface itself is compatible.
So here is my money-saving DIY solution!! If you use a small hack-saw or craft knife and carefully cut off the sides of the adapter along with the 2 black plastic support prongs either side of the POP connectors, your 6233 will fit into the adaptor and work fine in the CARK-91 cradle, well at least mine does anyway.
Not the ideal solution I know but it saved me forking out even more money!
