With my purchase of a Motorola V3 i received a Motorola Phone Tools cd. I have since installed it to my PC and used it to send songs and pictures to my cell.
However, lately it has not been functioning properly. It would either say that my cell is not connected (even though it is connected by the USB cable and is charging), or the connection port is unavailable (I cant remember the exact wording) even though I use the same USB slot in my PC as I have used previously with no troubles whatsoever.
In the rare times that everything seems to go off without a hitch, I am able to access the Multimedia Section and select the song I wish to send to my cell, but after I click Transfer it starts to connect and supposedly start sending the song it says that my cell is not connected to the PC.
These problems started after I was sending a song to my cell and during the sending process it froze. I was not able to cancel the transfer and was then forced to close the application mid-transfer. I think this is what caused the problems. But how can I solve it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Have you tried un-installing (NOT deleting) and re-installing MPT?

I would try live updating to the latest version (4.21 I believe) for some reasons older versions seem to become (even more) flaky when newer versions are available
