I brought my motorola V3 black 10 days back and I am absolutely feel cheated by the battery life of the phone..
Its been 12 days since I brought my phone and the battery drains off completely in 1 and a half days!!!!
I charge it for 2 hrs until it says battery is recharged..I dont use the vibrate mode..i have not once used bluetooth..i switch off my screen saver and the display time out is 10 secs..the screen brightness is set to minimum
Whats worse..in 1 and a half days, I use the phone just for approx 30 minutes (incoming and outgoing)..add about 10 messages to that..thats all how I am using the phone..
my country tech support is pathetic...moto have outsourced the tech support to some third party..and they claim that the standy time is 2 days while the talk time is 1 hr!!!!!! I asked them why should I use a mofo if thats all i will get?
I read the battery troubleshoot on moto international website..it said that new batteries need some time to cycle out properly..well its been more than 12 days now and its the same issue..
my country website claims that the standby time of the motorola V3 black is Up to 250 hours and Talktime : Up to 400 minutes which is absurd..
can someone using this phone tell me if you are facing the same issue?
thanks!

Change it to slow and see if you still get full bars.
Use untill you here the tone indicting that battery is low then turn off fone, put it on charge over night, do that couple time. Even though you don't use bluetooth , still you need to turn it off.
I got mine running on stand by about 3 days with 1hour talk time in that 3 days.
2 days with 1.5 to 2 hours talk time
Go to the bluetooth and MAKE SURE it is turned off cause sometimes it might be on without you touching it..And they really runs down battery life

the bluetooth is surely off..
i will try Old_Fool's suggestions
one thing i dont understand why motorola makes such false claims on their website..one reason i brought the phone is because the website claimed that the phone gives 250 hrs of standby and about 400 mins talk time..
i want to know if this is true??
