I just bought an 8300. I am having difficulties finding a good bluetooth headset. Too much echo. The motorola 500 was horrible. The tekkion is so so but significant echo to the person on the other end of the phone?

After exhaustive research I finally decided on the "Cardo Systems Scala 500" (in between $34 and $35---counting shipping). I've had it for about 2 weeks. It pairs very easily.....so far no one has said anything about static....incoming voices are extremely clear. I've used it in the car driving with all 4 windows down (just to experiment) and to my delight all I spoke to again under these conditions said that my voice was extremely clear! I would definitely recommend you looking into this headset. I wish you luck with your search!

I ordered a Plantronics L-510 Bluetooth(tm) Headset from buy.com for $49.32 total price. The reviews look good on it so I said what the heck. I should receive it today and will let you guys know.

The Plantronics L-510 is a very nice headset. It's very comfortable, is plenty loud and everyone says I sound nice and clear.

When I bought my 8300 I bought the bundle which included a Motorola H500 BT. I tried it a couple of times, but I didn't like what I heard (static). I took it back to Verizon and told him that I was having problems and the guy there said that the Plantronics BT headset paired better with non Motorola phones. I have to say that it is clear, no static and it only cost $29.99 at Verizon.
