What kind of USB cable does the Chocolate use? Or what cable do you get with the Music Essentials Kit? I would like to know this because I'm thinking about getting a Chocolate and I want to see if I already have the USB cable. Thanks in advance.

No, you most likely do not have one.
The end that plugs into the phone is a propriatory plug, not like a standard USB plug.
I would recommend getting the music essentials kit.
The headphones (also with the propriatory plug) are pretty decent and you don't have to mess with the adapter.
You then also have the USB cable.

What does this 'propriatory plug' look like?

If it's like the 8300, it looks like the battery charger plug since that's where it plugs into.
If I just bought the cable, would I also need the CD? Or driver disk or whatever it is?

You should be able to find the drivers online I would think.
You can also use BitPim to put stuff on the phone.

What everyone seems to fail to mention is that the USB cable that comes in the music essentials kit has a built in female connector for your power cord. If your USB cable does not have this then your phone will be using battery power when you are connecting to it and will keep shutting off.

Oh, ok. So more than likely that the MEK's USB cable is the only one that has that? Would one I buy off of eBay for example, would that cable have it?
