RAZR V3 - Sending file format prohibited in restricted mode

every time i try to send a ringtone in a text message i get "sending of this file format is prohibited in restricted mode." The ringer is not locked to the phone becous i put it there with phone tools and sent it with my old razr.

Have you tried doing it in a multimedia message?

Okay I fixed it. I had to go to message center, then message setup, then mms message setup, then composing mms. I had to change the creation mode.

Yah im getting the same message with my RAZR v3i it's saying the same thing u r instructions just werent clear enough when i try to send a multimedia msg it doesnt even show up all that show up are like 6 sounds u can send

lol okay nevermind im just dumb
go to your "message center"
press menu to get "Msg Center menu"
Pick "Inbox setup" from the list
"mms Messagee setup"
"Composing MMS"
"Creation mode" Unrestrict creation mode
