Hi Don,
How do i backup the TFS by using the OneNAND-downloader?
Because i cannot find a "backup button" at the NAND flash operation menu.
Please advice !!

Explore/Dump.
But it only works at slow speeds. < 115200

Hi Don
finally i got data cable today and i am now prepare to flash my D900.
I am trying to do the backup on both NOR and NAND.... but the problem is the "status" bar is not showing any progess (the "green status progress bar").
I want to know is this normal? or the backup on Nor / Nand will take a very very long time? how long will it take usually ?
In fact i have tried many times it only backup a few hundreds Kb and then it will come to a hault .... i have no idea why, please help !!
pls advice !!

hi Don,,
I have flashed my D900 yesterday, i noticed that the OneNAND Downloader is not able to backup the Nor/NAND sector. So i just flashed my phone without the backup my original phone firmware.
Thx for your help in the last 2 weeks.

Backing up the Nor and Nand with OneNAND downloader only works when you use the speed 115200 if your lucky. I never tried backing up the Nand cause you need the .cfg for your .tfs which takes to long to make. I did backup the Nor once but im never doing it again! it took me 2 days! Selecting 1 or 2 sections at a time.

I have tried different speed but no luck ... spent few hours on the backup issue.
Then i started to upgrade the firmware without format the NAND ... and i failed again (checksum error) .... finally i need to format the NAND and the upgrade completed successfully.
So is there any other tools to backup the NAND or NOR ? just wonder if there is any ...
