Hey Don,
The cable I have is the one you told me to get

This is not the right cable;
http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/datacables/samsung.htm#d900usb

This one is;
http://www.phantomgsm.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id =1040

And I mentioned that I am using the FTDI driver

@zagallaent
ONeNAND is getting a unexpected respons from the phone which could be caused by a few things;

- Is your battery fully charged?
- Is the cable connected to a USB hub?
- The Rx and Tx in the cable are switched or one of them is loose.

@SaveFerris
Only flash the TFS(NAND) first to see if dx supports uGo and if its doesn't also flash the CLA(NOR). Or just go for the D900JPFG6(TFS + CLA) without trying and you'll have uGo, Answering machine and a Voice recorder extra.

Don,
I removed the connector completely on the cable that plugs into the phone.
I see three wires. One connected to Pin 2, which I have seen is shorted to pin1

The other two look like they are on pins 9 and 10, or on the middle pins.

Maybe the settings on my downloader are incorrect?? Is the phone is not plugged in on the cable, the downloader just sits there when the phone is already on.

If the phone is off, I press start on the dowloader, I get:
** Wait for Connect Request from Mobile...
** (POWER ON the PHONE!)

Then I hit the power button on the phone and:

** Send '0x44' to SWIFT Chip
Bad Response from SWIFT Chip (0xFF)

SOOO close, this is driving me crazy!!!!!!

The needed pins are GND, RX and TX.
What colors do the wires have? Black, Blue and White?

Don,
The colors are green: connected to pins 19,20
white: connected to pin 10 (I believe)
red: connected to pin 9 (I believe)

According to the link you sent me, pins 2 and 7 should be connected to a diode and to the 5V supply in the cable

The answering machine is at menu 5.6 and you can change your background at menu 9.3.1

Thanks alot Don.

Found the answering machine but still don't have the uGo. I flashed my phone with but files of the D900JPFG6 so i'm really not sure why it's not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I successfully flashed my phone with the D900BDFH1 software. None of my contacts, messages, pictures or even settings got deleted. It seems to be working fine.

Does anybody know how you can create your own theme (or edit the current one)? For example, as the day goes by the wallpaper changes. How can you put your own changing wallpaper there? Is there any software that will help you do that and maybe also change the welcome picture?

Also does anybody know the secret menu codes for the D900?

@zagallaent
Can you move pin 9 to 12, pin 10 to 11 and 19/20 to 1? To see if it works than.

The name is USB Datacable VPC and the speed is 128000 in devmanager and 921600 on OneNAND:

@sti
uGo is the lame background with birds and clouds. Do you see that? If not, Did you also flash the tfs?

@supertsik
Resman 5.4 and Adobe Flash
- Open the TFS with Resman and go to svg/theme

For the code you can try these;
