Hey don,
Thanks again, but I give up! All the pins are in the right spot, The driver is correct (same as yours).
I am returning the cable, I think it is faulty and I am getting the Serial version of it.......
If I figure this problem out, I will post how I did it

Only flash the TFS(NAND) first to see if dx supports uGo and if its doesn't also flash the CLA(NOR). Or just go for the D900JPFG6(TFS + CLA) without trying and you'll have uGo, Answering machine and a Voice recorder extra. |
Hey Don, I flashed the CLA and the TFS with D900JPFG6 firmware, I selected the dont auto nand format. I now have the answering machine but i still dont have the picture theme , I have the normal picture of grass with the sky back ground with clouds and birds flying but without the icon like Big Ben or Pisa etc
What can i do about this, I am currently residing in Australia and i'm under the impression that a picture of the Sydney opera house should be the theme.

@SaveFerris
Flash your phone with this tfs: http://members.chello.nl/dondiegox/uGoAustralia.zip
With Don't Auto Format NAND enabled.
@supertsik
I also don't speak russian, just read the links.

The D900JPFG6 doesn't support Ausralia thats why you don't see it, try flashing this one:
http://members.chello.nl/dondiegox/uGoAustralia2.zip
With Don't Auto Format NAND enabled.

You are a champion, it worked a treat.
But i have one more problem now, Everything is working fine except for Video, during playback my video's come back all blurry and pixilated, my camera is fine though, this only happened when i changed my firmaware.
What can i do about this ? I promise i'll leave you alone.

Hi All, from FRANCE
We talk about flash cable D900 here
i'm looking for the real, correct, and "validated" connexions
(RX TX and GND) for making a RS232 cable to flash D800/D900 phone ....
I've seen many posts here or in others forums that describe the pinouts like that:
http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic50482-0-asc-20.html
SAMSUNG D800/D900 phone keyboard ub
SAMSUNG male connector M20 plug (on the phone)
__________________________________________________
numbering left to right
___________________
\ 1........................20 /
------------------------
1&2 = GND
11 = TX
(i think pinout 11 is an OUTPUT that must be connected to the "RX of MAX232" )
12 = RX
(i think pinout 12 is an INPUT that must be connected to the "TX of MAX232" )
__________________________________________________
OR LIKE THAT (the countnumber is changed)
__________________________________________________
numbering right to left
___________________
\ 20........................1 /
------------------------
1&2 = GND
11 = TX
(i think pinout 11 is an OUTPUT that must be connected to the "RX of MAX232" )
12 = RX
(i think pinout 12 is an INPUT that must be connected to the "TX of MAX232" )
SO WHAT IS the correct pinouts / countnumber for connexions ???
AND could you give me the right pinout RX and TX for the D800/D900
When we write TX for a pinout of the D800 it's a SIGNAL OUTPUT
When we write RX for a pinout of the D800 it's a SIGNAL INPUT
so in an electronic diagram:
the TX pinout of the D800 must be connected to the RX pinout of the MAX232
the RX pinout of the D800 must be connected to the TX pinout of the MAX232
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your response
Stephane
