my parents have a family plan and i want to know if i can buy a sk3 and add a line to their plan. if so how much would it all cost?? and do i need to buy the sk plan along with this??

You may need a new voice contract to do that to start. There will be a $35 activation fee to add a line, $9.99/month fee for the line and a 19.99/month charge for sidekick 3 data plan because you also have a voice plan paired with the phone. The sidekick 3 will run $299.99/2yr conteact, $349/1yr contract, 399/no contract.

How long of a contract do you want. Monthly price is 19.99. When you let me know about your contract length I can give you an upfront price.

so after everything is bought...i have to pay just 19.99 a month to use my sk 3? that sounds too good to be true.

Plus the 9.99/month for the additional line on the Family time plan, but yes, it's only $20 for the Sidekick feature.

i went to tmobile and asked.
they said all i had to pay upfront was 299 with the 2 yr contract if i added a line to my parents plan.
if i opened up out own account it would have required a 300 dollar deposit because they said i didnt have credit. i dont know what credit means. and i just turned 18 maybe thats why i never knew.
well does this all sound true 299 upfront? thats good news to hear from tmobile, i just wanna verify from you guys because i forgot to mention the sidekick plan but hoping its part of the bill like everything else.

299 upfront plus taxes would be your cost. Remember if you use the family time plan to add 9.99 a month for the additional line. If you open your own account you have 299 up front for the phone, 300 for the deposit and 35 for the activation.
