The G showing GPRS availability has a blue background. This changes to red when connected.

When I try to send a text message and select a number from my phonebook, I get the message "nothing selected" and the message won't send. Why is this?

I typed that in to get rid of the G on my Samsung d900...How do I turn the GPRS back on?
