Right, so I got the new nokia 6131. Pretty good lookin phone and all, and apparently it plays flash. I thought, nice one...what a brilliant feature.
So i load on a few SWF files onto my new microSD memory card and try to open them. BUT...the phone comes up saying file format not supported.
I've searched everywhere to find out the problem but no luck whatsoever.
I thought the copyright of the SWF files was the case but there is no copyright on them. SO what the hell is going on???
If anybody could help me, i'd well appreciate it as at the mo, it's such a waste of a feature on this phone!!!

Not every file will be supported to be played.
I can't tell you which, the Flash Lite on my E61 also won't play alls files.
Also you need to start Flash Lite and open the swf file from there.

Well, it should have Flash lite on it, I rechecked, you also should be able to open flash files from the gallery.
The pre-installed Soduko game is flash.
You can't install Flash Lite afterwards.
Maybe you should try a firmware update, the 6131 is capable of doing it over-the-air. But you need to consider that mobile data charges apply.

I tried updating it but no luck...still stuck with the same old "format not supported"...
Haven't a clue what to do!!!
Sudoku works perfectly but can't open any flash files i load on.
Something's wrong (could be very simple) and it really is annoying!!!
Has to be something to do with the SWF file.
Cheers anyways...I'll keep at it and let you know if I suceed!
over and out

Well, when Sudoku works, there is nothing wrong with flash.
You are sure, the flashfiles end with .swf?
And as I said: not all will play... my E61 still has problems with most of them. Older flash files should work better than newer programed.
