Create a batch file .bat with notepad:
Code:
volumeid c: 2473-1DEB
copy the batch file to the same dir as VOLUMEID.exe and execute it than restart you computer after 10 sec.

Note that changes on NTFS volumes won't be visible until the next reboot. In addition, you should shut down any applications you have running before changing a volume id. NT may become confused and think that the media (disk) has changed after a FAT volume id has changed and pop up messages indicating that you should reinsert the original disk. It may then fail the disk requests of applications using those drives.

hi there,

I have create a batch file .bat with the code which your provided. but I still couldn't do it. Yours have any cracks file for me...... or send me through e-mail at d8nny@eudoramail.com. Thanks

Hello,

I downloaded the preview of DIY 3.0 and installed it. However, when I go to the About Software TAB I don't have any place to put "Registration Code". All I am ble to do is choose the Hard Drive letter and enter Serial Number.

Sorry, I tried everithing but this method just doesn't work! I've changed volume id to c:, and the sn appear to be 6CC4316AC83460DC35. For now it's all ok. Then I get in the registration code DeIjLmNoKlPqOpMnNo and my name, so the program tell me to close and restart. But when I try, it simply doesn't start at all, and th file samsung.ini in the installation directory is missing. So I've to put a floppy with "famous" samsung.ini, and try to restart the prog. It doesn't start yet. Get off the floppy, and modify in samsung.ini, hard drive: a:\, save it and re-try to restart (without floppy). It run, but I'm at the starting point, only sn and reg code blank.
What can I do, except throw my pc off the window icon_sad.gif ?

Make a batch file:
Open notepad and write:
Code:
volumeid C: 2473-1DEB
and save as xxx.bat *All Filetypes.
Put this batch file in the same dir as volumeid.exe
