Note that changes on NTFS volumes won't be visible until the next reboot. In addition, you should shut down any applications you have running before changing a volume id. NT may become confused and think that the media (disk) has changed after a FAT volume id has changed and pop up messages indicating that you should reinsert the original disk. It may then fail the disk requests of applications using those drives. |

Sorry, I tried everithing but this method just doesn't work! I've changed volume id to c:, and the sn appear to be 6CC4316AC83460DC35. For now it's all ok. Then I get in the registration code DeIjLmNoKlPqOpMnNo and my name, so the program tell me to close and restart. But when I try, it simply doesn't start at all, and th file samsung.ini in the installation directory is missing. So I've to put a floppy with "famous" samsung.ini, and try to restart the prog. It doesn't start yet. Get off the floppy, and modify in samsung.ini, hard drive: a:\, save it and re-try to restart (without floppy). It run, but I'm at the starting point, only sn and reg code blank.
What can I do, except throw my pc off the window ?

Make a batch file:
Open notepad and write: | Code: | | volumeid C: 2473-1DEB | and save as xxx.bat *All Filetypes.
Put this batch file in the same dir as volumeid.exe
