Well, I had one guy call yesterday saying his CU500 phone does not hold a charge for more than 30 mins at a time, you'd be better off with the V3i when it comes out in 4 days from today (Sept 2)

that's ridiculous. dont base your decision on one crazy situation. so what, the guy had a defective battery (or more than likely did something to it himself). please give yourself a chance to play with both at the store when you are eligible. remember that the CU500 and V3i are different types of phones, the CU500 is capable of HSDPA speeds and the V3i has GPRS class 10 (basically doesn't even compare).

Life is Good...yet, most of their phones aren't that great.
I usually tell people to try out the phones they're intereseted in instead of basing their conclusions on other peoples' experiences. Opinions differ by each person.

I would say the LG, B/C in my experiences, motos have a slow UI. I've had both the Cingular and Verizon Version (V3i, and V3M), plus, I had one of the new VZWs, and I returned after 5 days, because I couldnt get used to the keypad, and the UI was slow and a unresponsive at times, but then again, the new cingular V3i might have made improvements since I last owned one in '05
