I am connecting my T310 to the laptop using a data cable. Do i need to install any model driver to use the GPRS feature? I was not able to locate any such driver on the global support area of sonyericsson.com.
Please help.

You can download the modem scripts required from www.sonyericsson.com/support. Download it from the T310 support page. This is all that you require.

Thanks for your reply.. But the modem scripts are for infrared. How do i connect using a cable. I cannot surf the net using Infrared.

Try using the synchronisation software from the SE support site and see whether it helps.

Really bad newz mon. T310 can only be used as a modem via IR in earlier firmware versions (or all versions still (dunno)). So, try tha conference this with yor nearest SE shop or smthn, and ask whether using T310 as modem via DC is possible with the newer versions of its firmware.

You can see the firmware version by pressing >*<<*<*
on your cellphone. Here > stands for press the joystick towards the right, < stands for press the joystick towards the left while * means press the * button on the cellphone. Go to service info>SW information. There you will get the firmware version.

hei my T310 cant connect with the infrared through the GPRS when the computer try to veryfying my username and password its suddenly out of range im allready download the modem scriopt via sonyericsson.com but it doesnt work and when im using nokia 6610 and 7650 its doing fine!!
