Hi there
I hope someone can please help - I've got a V3 and for the second time in about as many months, the keypad / buttons on the phone have stopped working. Now, if I take the battery out, replace it, I can use the on / off button to turn the phone back on, but once it's on, all buttons stop working again.
The first time it happened, I took the battery out and left it for about 15 minutes, replaced it, and the phone worked fine, but I'm having no luck this time :/
If someone could give me a clue as to what to do with this phone I would be grateful.
Thanks!

If you have warranty then use it.
Otherwise try flashing with a recent monsterpack.
If you still have issues then the most likely culprit is the keypad membrane / flex cable

I've had the phone for 2 months.
When I power up, the phone keypad "pushes" buttons by itself. Mainly the "# 7" key.
It's like a ghost in my phone!
It will store phone numbers like 777-777-7777 before I can turn it off. Last night it pushed "7" & deleted my inbox messages!
it is not water damaged. Taking out the battery for 24 hours did not help.
Any answers?
BTW, What does "flash"/flex" mean?

The flash is the phones firmware. The flex is all the files and settings.
However it sounds like you have a damaged keypad membrane, it could just need cleaning but may need replacing.
If its only 2 months old use warranty rather than doing anything to invalidate warranty.

Depends on who and where you got - in UK minimum warranty is normally 12 months

My V3 got wet in a storm and now only the on/off button works.
What can i do?
Should i flash the phone? (i think this may void my warranty, i have about 2 months left)
Edit: gave to a repairer, they put the phone in alcohol to fix it, only the on/off button works still

No, warranty will send it back. You might be able to resurrect it, take it apart clean it thorughly with Rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush, then stick the chip boards in the oven for 15 min at 300 degrees to dry it out and pray to the cellphone gods that you didn't short anything out.
