Transfer pictures from Nokia 7250i to PC?

i am still having the 7250i as a back-up phone just coz am unable to transfer the pics from the phone to the pc

. i don't think IR works for 7250i, hence am not able to send to other phones..

i did not get the pc-suite (cd) when buying (if sold). i do have the dku cable. any other way to tranfer datas?

also, how do i copy messages to other phone?

For the pictures: Nokia PC Suite can be downloaded for free from the Nokia website.

IR can't send stuff to other phones, that's true. But with PC Suite you would be able to browse through the phones memory and copy the pictures to your computer (like with the cable).

Messages can't be copied from phone to phone, but you would be able to save them to your computer.

i hope the s/w is available at the official website..
also do i need the dku driver.. is it a different one?

Either for Win 9x or XP/2000

The DKU-drivers are imcluded. Install PC Suite, connect the cable to the phone, connect cable to your PC, wait a moment.

If you have a replica-cable there are several other points you might consider. There is a big thread about it in the forum.

i downloaded and installed the pc suite. but when i plug in the cable when connected to the phone, it says 'USB not recognized'

i am having the DKU-2 cable and i did try installing the driver for that from the same link. but no chance..

would be really helpful if you could post things step wise with necessary links.

DKU-2 doesn't work with the 7250i, you either need a DKU-5 or a CA-42 cable
