Hi everybody,
I'm having some issues with dropped calls on the Verizon Wireless network. In my apartment, I will get anywhere from half to full bars on my Razor and Chocolate phones. However, when I place calls, they are usually dropped either right away or after a couple of minutes.
I've ensured all updates have been applied to the phones, in addition to increasing the roaming network options. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to switch carriers?

Hmmm...there's a lot of variables at work here. Depends on where you are. What is your zip code??

There's a tower on Newport Coast Drive @ San Joaquin and 7 up and down rt 1 and 5 or so up and down 73 along the water. My suggestion is to do a warranty exchange, because there's no reason why it shouldn't work---unless you're trying to call from a room with no windows.

Thanks for checking for me. The Verizon employee with whom I just spoke verified that I have a tower very close to my apartment. I just started my contract yesterday, so I could certainly exchange this phone for another. But, given that I am showing full bars, I'm not certain if that would actually make a difference. My Razor has the same issue.

It very well could be your phone. I've had a few dropped calls with my LG 5200 phone with full service. Maybe the tower is at capacity sometimes, but I doubt it. If you're only a few days into the contract, I suggest swapping for another phone.
