The ring starts low in volume and then increases gradually with each ring. I want it to ring loudly the FIRST time. (Yes, I know how to set the volume on the menu.)
Also, I want to increase the number of rings before it goes into voice mail.
How do I do these two things?
Thanks, in advance.

you can't change the increasing ring. that's how they're made.
as for the voicemail, just call your provider and have them set it to 30 seconds. or you can do it your self by sending this code:
**61*+your voice mail number*11*30#

Is that a literal plus sign or is it
**61*5555551212*11*30#
Thanks again....

One more question:
I took a photo of a friend and attached her photo as her ID on her phone number on my phone.
I then sent that photo to another friend but she (the second friend) could not make that picture the ID of the first friend.
So, the question is, can you receive a photo and then make that photo the ID for one of the contact's phone number?
Thanks....

something like that is completely dependant on the phone and its abilities. Does your friend have the same phone you do? If so, it may just be a limitation of that LG model. In theory, you should be able to use any picture on your phone as an ID picture. There may be a size limitation that prevents her from using the sent picture, while your phone may downsize it automatically so you can use it.

We are both using the LG CG225; there is no menu selection for saving a received photo as an ID for a contact.
That, in a nutshell, is the problem.
Probably just a poor design....

it may be. I had a LG L1200 a few years back, it was the same way. I could take a id picture with the camera, but that was my only option for contacts. Apparantly they haven't changed the software in thier basic phones. Sorry I couldn't help
