I recently bought a Micro SD card for my phone and the past 2 days my battery has ran down. Could it be the memory card doing it? Tonight I did not even use my phone and it went dead in 12 hours that is not normal. My battery used to last at least 2 days. The only thing that has changed is I had the memory card in the slot. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me or let me know if this could be the problem...

sno_wyte_231, last weekend, I bought a microSD card. I downloaded approximately 20 songs on it. I've taken pictures, videos, made phone calls and still the battery life lasted about two days. I keep the microSD card in the phone and if I don't listen to music, the battery lasted about four days. Sounds as though you may need to have your phone checked by Verizon technician.

There was a bad batch of batteries in the early rollout of the 8300. I apologize that I cannot be more specific, but do a search concerning it and you should find what you need. According to what I read, the bad batteries are being replaced at no charge...bad pun.

Thank You to everyone that tried to help me. I took my phone back to the verizon store and they gave me a new Phone and battery they said that this was the first time they had seen anything like it. And that since it had not been 90 days they would repalce it they transferred evertying from my phonebook for free and told me that I could call customer service to get back the ringtones that I had downloaded. I have not expierienced this problem with the new one. Once again Thank You.
