Yes with the V3i non itune version but use DAP you can have all the music you can hold.
I guess itune don't want you to like it to much that you don't want to buy their i pot any more!!!.
which i did, i mod my E389 to have itune and 1000 songs limit so i did not buy ipot. The fone si perfect for my need, i can go work out in the gym with the fone as a ipot but then when some one call me i don't miss it

Not the the best, but still better.
I have got success in raising the song limit on Motorola V3i from 50 to 100.
But, be careful while following these instructions as if something goes wrong, you might damage your phone. Also, it will void the warranty of the phone.

If you don't wish to do all this hard work, there's a modified version of a monster pack for R47A probably by a modder named Dev Meena. Here's a link
I haven't used it myself as I have my own copy of the monster pack now but, the modder claims that it has lots of others mods in this pack including the 100 song limit in Itunes.
