I have a ROKR and now I bought a V3i.
The V3i didn't come with a memory card so I use the one from the ROKR.
I connected to iTunes and updated and was only allowed to add 50 songs instead of the 100.
When I checked the iTunes 'preferences/phone' the slider only went to 50 (song/data).
The bar at the bottom of iTunes says I have 50% more available.
These are the same songs as before and are not bigger files.
Doe anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks,
MC

A memory card with capacity to hold 100 songs only can hold 50 songs in another phone?
The ROKR I have only holds 100 songs. This is the same card.
I figured it was an iTunes problem.
So far this phone (V3i) is too quiet(earphone gain), only lets me put 50 songs on it and of course doesn't let me use any other Motorola data cables or chargers.
Oh the price we pay for fashion.
Thanks Old Fool
Once again you answered my question.

I'm trying to find someone local to hack my phone to up the gain. I can't get it to connect to P2Ktools and I'm sick of trying.
If I can't find anybody, can I send it to you to do it for me?

When you hook up tp iTunes and look in preferences does the data/song slider only go to 50 songs?
I'm asking not because I have an answer, but because that's how mine is.
I guess these V3i's only allow 50 songs.
Bummer

BTW my memory card is 512mb

Ok I get mine phone was set up differently I got the new Menu system somehow. Mine can hold up 100 songs and it can support up to 2GB of memory. Maybe the women who setted up my phone updated the software. Well I like it, but still isn't it sopposed to use more memory. When I bought it, It cma ewith 15200 KB and it had usen 300KB, wierd right. It did come with Games/Applications: 3 games and 1 application.
Came with IM and that Chat feature. I tryed a @ GB memory card from the store and it worked, so mines good enough. Mine costed $600. WIERD!!!
