Hi.
help.. i can not connect razr v3 with PST..
installed PST7.2.3 + MPT..
I looked at the 'phone and modem options' under 'control panel'.. when i connect to MPT - it says 'motorola usb modem' connected to COM4 (COM3 is toshiba modem).
however, when i runs the program PST, it COM4 changes to 'not present' (and i think the phone screen also blacks out after PST starts)..
any ideas?

Have you installed the p2k drivers? Follow the guide to connecting p2k programs in the tutorial section

same thing happens. after run program P2kman, COM4 changes to 'not present'. =(
i removed 'motorola usb modem' then replug the phone. point manual install, then point to 'drv' folder in p2kman. or i need to do something else?

Com 4 is meant to be removed - P2k programs use different drivers to MPT

but p2k shows 'phone not connected'..
newb question.. how can i connect the phone? i can't get p2k or PST to connect..
p2k- phone not connected
PST - phone not connected. please connect and power up the phone.

i tested with an older version of motorola phone, same thing happens. i also tested this on my laptop + desktop.. so could it be the software or the USB cable?
i know i shouldn't post links to the software, but i hope name are okay.

Go to http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30 and download Motorola USB Driver
Use this to clean and reinstall the drivers
